The tides of March are upon us. Do I cease-or not the opportunity of a full moon rise with clouds and wind, moving like assassins in the dark, led by a Brutus of a storm. Fortunately, Christo Rei has my back, as he directs the sweet waters of the Rio Tagus as it mixes and churns with the salted waters of the Atlantic.
With the high tide raised, even higher than the norm by the moons full rising Christo Rei directs the action, with the out stretched arms of an orchestrating director, as I try to get but just a glimpse of the full moon as it rises above a bridge golden in gate, but named for a date in April (after the Ides of March had passed) and the people could be free once more on its’ 25th day.
The flurry of cloud, wind and sea, presented a challenge, not so great that I could not penetrate for a shot or two as the first blue moon of the Month rose above the Tides of March. Protected by Christo from the slings of daggers, it was not to be a blood moon this time, just blue.
