Full Moon arising, Sun a setting, 11 months later I find myself again in Namibia, enjoying the celestial dance of Sun’s set and full Moon rise. With one going and one coming at equal speed in color shade and intensity. Careful as you look because one may appear to be the other.
My hosts engage the Sun in various ways, as they grasp Sun and moon in hand as they then watch the many shades of the moon as it comes from behind the mound and raises into the darkening sky, and fully reflects the light of the slumbering sun.
Take care to watch the sequence of full Sun to Full moon, and the various shades of the rising moon. And a gander at the stars, galaxies, and more in the moon lightened night sky.
