Ganges, pregnant Moon gives birth.
Tonight, on the Ganges, I watched as the Super Moon appeared to give birth (slides 6 – 12) to a mini red moon from within its surface.
While I caught the full moon in my camera, my guide, driver and driver’s younger but bigger brother captured the moon in their hands.
With the Hindu celebration going on upon the Ganges’ river bank, the moon was playful with a basket, playing a game of moon on a stick, and tried to blend in with the festive lights.
Having arisen in the red, I last saw it dressed in white celebrating above a Hindu temple.
