Christmas Eve

December 25, 2016 · El Calafate, Argentina

Merry Christmas to all my family, friends and followers; from the other side of North:

Having spent most of the year south of the equator, I find myself celebrating Christmas in Summer. But the feel of winter is not far away, here in Patagonia at the foot of Mount Fitz Roy and the feel of a White Christmas at glacial speeds. At the Sun’s set, I saw a bright star in the sky, and a swoosh of red, which could be none other than Rudolph himself. As it appears, Santa really does circumvent the globe at reindeer speed. And if by chance a reindeer should be out of commission, there are Guanaco or two or more, ready to step in and lend a helping hoof or four.
