Table for One: Self-served in a box Gourmet dinner
Isolated, I opted to make a self-delivered Gourmet dinner, and deliver to myself in a box.
To keep the spirit of take away, I aspired to prepare and deliver in less than 30 minutes.
With the empty box open, ready to be filled, with the essence of dinner to be made. I gathered the ingredients: Filet of Mignon steak, Rochford Cheese, Cured Ham, Pineapple, Asparagus, assorted Olives, vine ripened Tomatoes, herbs/spices, Garlic and Butter. All put in the grill in varying order, then placed strategically, on a salad plate, placed in the delivery box.
Voila
A meal ready for delivery to me. Self-heating to masterfully melt the crumbles of Rochford cheese, that were dusted upon the varied ingredients, whilst warmed within closed box.
To accompany this gourmet boxed delight, I added dessert of fresh Raspberries and Strawberries, suspended in Lime jelly, topped with Ying Yang Clementine segments, in glass; to bring balance and color to this self-delivered meal.
Like any good delivered meal, quick and easy to consume with little to clean, with just the grill and a salad plate to clean.
