5 months in isolation, time for a road trip, NOT!. Starting the morning, jumping the hibernated battery, I set off to see, how many waterfalls I could see in the day. Up until now, I had kept close to home. But now was my chance to get my travel wheels going. 90 minutes into the journey, the engine died in motion, just as I passed a rest stop. Using break and wrestling with power steering becoming power resistant steering, I was able to maneuver a wrong way move, entering into the exit lane of the rest stop, finishing with a curb hop stop. With the help of a Road Side Service vehicle happening by, I got jumped and on my way. I opted to make my way back, to my village mechanic Nuno Pimenta . So I am back in isolation, as I await the call, to collect my car and gear, so I can re-continue my journey without fear.
