LADIES EMPOWERED LUNCH

November 5, 2019 · Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Amazing company for Lunch and Dinner; Monde Litungi, a woman from Zambia, I met on 1 September 2016, who is working on an initiative to help small business women, to help fund each other to success. Brenda Dube, who I met on the same day 3 years ago, who is wanting to help orphans to have better life’s. And Petition Petty Muchimba, an orphan herself, that I met last month, that found ways to create small businesses to help her get funds she needed for school tuition, supplies and uniforms. Who has now created The Dream Team in conjunction with her employer The 3 Monkeys Restaurant, to help disadvantaged children, as she was, to get the aid and funds needed, to be educated.

The lunch meeting continued, to an evening meal with Petition and her 15 year old niece, who she is aiding, to be successful at the private school she attended, and her 5 year old niece, who will start school shortly. 3 women who having struggled themselves, helping others, not to have to struggle as much.
My next three weeks, will be spent working with them, as I go back to visit others, I have been working with, to finds ways of self help to success.

I hope to use my Storyorgaphies, and Earth Personally platform, to help these ladies to help others.

Herewith an Orphans effort to help others to help themselves:

THE DREAMTEAM ‘THE SKY IS NOT THE LIMIT’
Te Dreamteam is a charity organization that was founded by Petition Muchimba (21) in 2016 which works in collaboration with the Three Monkey’s Restaurant in the resort town of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. The reasons behind its formation were the financial challenges that young, talented but, less privileged children were facing which saw many not being able to sit for their O’level examinations while some having passed their O’level fail to further their education due to lack of funds. There is also, the lack of sanitary wear amongst girls thus, they end up missing classes during their menstruation days and last but not the least, the help that the founder has got so far these being the payment of her A level registration by the BEAM organization and Michelle Gapara of Bella Bright, who is currently pushing for her Rotary scholarship so that she continues with her education, which has made her want to help others as well. The organizations name came about because of the belief in one’s dream which is possible no matter the obstacles encountered. The Dreamteam’s goal is to make a difference in the Victoria Falls community and country at large through love from young people. Their moved by their mission statement which reads, ’Kindness is the language that the blind can see and the deaf can hear’. Activities carried out include voluntary and community work of which so far they have done fundraisings in the form of car washes, shoe polishing, dance groups and have paid exam fees for three O’level pupils namely Oprah Daka, the twins, Nkosinathi and Nkosenhle Ncube, at Mosi-oa-Tunya High School, Victoria Falls. They have also held a Clean-up Awareness Campaign under the Victoria Falls Econet Marathon which took place on the 7th of July 2019. The road so far has not been easy for the Dreamteam as they have been criticized by people who feel they are young consequently, marking them incapable and incompetent to carry out the task at hand and the lack of support from the masses as very few understand their vision with the exception of Ilan Wiesenbacher, the owner of the Three Monkeys Restaurant and, the General Manager, Greg Pymans who want to remove children from comprising situations by ensuring their right to education is obtained so that they too can grow to yield fruitful results towards the macro and micro economic development of their societies. There is still a lot to be done and the Dreamteam is going to continue to stand firm and ensure that their aim is achieved no matter the cost.
