Two 3 year olds from opposite sides of Africa meet for the first time. On the left 7 aka Krisjan, of Namibia and on the right Brandon of Zimbabwe. Two boys who crossed my path on my travels 3 years ago, were now meeting for the first time with their families, for all of their first time experience of seeing a movie in a theatre, with popcorn, drinks and even 3-D glasses.
Afterwards, helping me to push my truck to start it, me having left the lights on. The boys did not share a language, only the misfortune of having met me 😊. Now they were becoming friends and helping me when in need.
3 years ago, I met Krishan when he was what I thought was 7 months old and told the story of his life starting in the Democratic Resettlement Camp, Swakopmund, Namibia. And Brandon, was alive not born when I met his mother Brenda and gave her a tip in a restaurant in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, Who then named her son with my name. Along with Krisjan and Brandon and their families, we were joined by Angie Vroutjie Gomkhaises and her children Rejoice and Anthony, who has hosted me two years before. Katrina Garises Brenda Dube
