Double entendre? How about multiple entendre? In France the land of entendre, I came across, these signs. ‘Blond’ & ‘Stop’. Is this an instruction to Blonds to stop? Is it a notice there is a blond to stop for. Is it a pun on ‘blind stop’, or most likely Stop village of Blond this way. With time and the nature of jokes blond, my guess is more entendres are to be found, with no stop.
