A Rajastahni Bishnoi Society grandmother passes neither into the next world or back into this one, but to nourish the soil for new and existing life to flourish. Women of the society, friends and family share in the funeral and gifts to the one’s who were left without this woman. The Bishnoi society lives to protect and save all life, human, animal and plant. Not eating meat and only the fruit of plants and not the plant itself. Life is a gift to be protected and savored.
