This is Adam and his brother Daud. They agreed to digitize my slides of Europe taken in 1979, for an agreed upon fee, and by an agreed upon date. They kept their agreement and upon my two week sojourn through the Balkans, they recovered my 600+ memories of my first European adventure.
I was very impressed. I paid the fee they turned over the slides, and USB drive with their work, and the Slide digitizing machine that I had provided to them to do the work. But, then I said, no longer need the machine, since you have converted all of my slides. So I will give to you to use, and you can chose to make it a toy or a tool. A tool if you use it to convert slides for others, in exchange for payment, a toy, if you do not make business use of it.
Adam is not just a business man at age 10, but he is a kind soul. While with him he saved a salamander from being thrown into the lake by others. He took me blackberry picking. And then he and his mom, made the donuts that initiated our first meeting, to be our last meal together, until we can meet again. The blackberries made for a nice touch on the donuts with powdered sugar.
It was nice for the lads, to help me recover my old memories and for us to create new memories for each other. Herewith, is our day together before I adventure, with some photos of my first adventure interspersed with my day with two new business owners, if they so wish.
