Nothing like a Summer’s Solstice Sardine barbecue and moon catching.
As was the case when I was invited by Pedro Correia for a barbecue at his home. My first home cooked meal, since I arrived in Portugal in early December 2017.
While the foods were nice, the new company and people met were nicer. I hope over time I can learn their names and their language. As it was, I found myself chasing the moon, as we all enjoyed the fresh fish, and vegetables and each other’s company.
It was a joy to spend time with new friends and their families, and even enjoy some gourmet combinations of cabbage and sardine.
