February 1, 2018 Oeiras, Portugal.
Same tool. Different Perspective. Different result.
As I move about taking pictures here and there; I am apt to loan a camera or two, to enquiring eyes near by.
On this day it was Paulo, the receptionist at the hostel I stay, when chasing the objects of sky and their enlightenment upon the atmosphere, in surrounding. Having leant a camera with great zoom, Paulo’s look at life is more focused, on that which is near. Of the simple and not so complicated, of animals represented in paint worn by the salt of the sea, reflections on faucets, vents to the sky and even a simple silhouette of a simple me, awaiting the challenges of the moonrise to come.
Photography gets me to see the world outside of me, what it does for others, I do not know, but it is a way of sharing one’s world view.
