Tools or Toys: I never know what my gifts will become, that I have given to others, to help their life’s. It makes me happiest when the gifts are used to not only improve their lives, but the lives of others. In this case I presented Beerma Bishnoi , of India, with a birthday present, of a Handycam, which he is using to inform the world, of the work he and the Bishnoi Society, in which he is a part, to help protect all living things.
I spent a few weeks with him and his family and friends learning of their efforts to protect life, using the Handycamera and my cameras to document our time together. On the eve of my departure, the handycam, given as a gift was stolen. Making for a very sad departure. But we had saved all the videos and photos taken, before this theft, so not all was lost.
As karma, providence, or luck would have it, the stolen camera was retrieved, and I am pleased to share with you a video, made by Beerma Bishnoi, and shared with me and the world, to help, him to help all living things.
It is nice to give a gift, it is nicest when it keeps on giving through the hearts of others. Happy Holidays, to all who care to care.
