Saomi Falls, Zambia, a days drive.

September 5, 2017 Zambia

New Driver: Brendan! Brendan!! BRENDAN!!!!
Me: What?
New Driver: The speedometer is not working!!!! I took my foot off the gas, to slow down, but it says I am going even faster!!!!!
WHY!!!!
Me: You are going downhill. It’s called gravity.
New Driver: How do I fix the speedometer to slow down.
Me: Go uphill, it’s called gravity. Or press the brake, you will slow down, it is called friction.

So started a Sunday drive with my first cheaper to buy than rent African car. The road trip took us from Mongu, to Sioma Falls, as we looked for a spot to set up for the upcoming full moon, on 6 September. We finished the day seeing red, well a red but striped Sun.

With a need now for the hand made key chain, made and given to me by Bruno Pazos of Rio de Janairo, Brazil, I am now set for road trips in the Baroste Plain of Zambia.
