Nothing like a nice welcome home. As I entered the door into a restaurant I was last in 6 months ago, I was greeted as a friend not a guest. With the traditional Portuguese cheek kiss, hands on shoulder. Gloria sat me at the seat that I had sat at last, and knew my standard beverages. Francisco prepared my order in the wood fired oven. With decorations still up, I felt the warmth of their spirits and a nice welcome home, here in Vila do Conde Portugal
