Moon and Earth skirmish for the Sun’s light

February 1, 2018 · Oeiras, Portugal

A cosmic battle is fought this night. A battle that was last fought between Earth and Moon for the Sun’s enlightenment 152 years before. For tonight the Moon was Super but also Blue, having arisen twice in the month. The Earth’s audacity chose to eclipse the light of the Sun from the Moon on this auspicious eve, leaving her Blood red. With the Sun ducking over the horizon just before the Moon could arise; a break in this battle occurred as She traversed the Earth from Asia, now to Europe, where she the Moon could show its true colours once it made it above the fog of war. Once free to reflect the Sun’s light, she was given the kiss of providence by the Saint of the Sea, who had just seen the Earth move in front of the Sun to ready for battle once again. The Princess of the Sea, a Mermaid, gives the Moon a tender kiss of encouragement and a breath of new life.

With this refreshing encouragement, she was ready to do battle with the Earth for the Sun’s light over the America’s. Tomorrow when she goes to sleep she will do so after the rise of the Sun and its warmth as she goes to rest, not being full again until March, where once again, she will be Blue.
