When you go to a new place, you never know what you will see from your guesthouse window. This time I saw what I was hoping to see and even more, Northern Lights, Southern Light, Mermaids, and even a surprise landing and all this you can see with Gunner, the owner, without stepping outside. And sometimes there is even a whale to watch in the fjord.

With the help of my multilingual Icelandic friends, I did get to see the setting of the Southern Light and the fluttering of the Northern Lights. Even a blizzard of a day can end with colourful lining on the clouds.
